THEMATIC

Cleaning is a fundamental component of our daily lives that impacts our health, safety, productivity, and well being. Whether you're at home, in the workplace or around the community, it is important to maintain cleanliness because it helps us reduce germs and bacteria that could lead to potential illnesses, by cleaning we help prevent the spread of these illnesses

In conclusion, cleaning isn't just about appearances, but it is about securing our physical and mental well-being along with our future.

1st Quarter Reflection

Now that the first quarter of the school year is almost over, I'd like to say that this quarter is both the hardest and easiest. It's hard because I needed time to readjust to the habit of waking up early, and attending classes, and balancing my duties both in and out of school, especially after summer break, it was pretty overwhelming. It was also easy because the first quarter lessons are often easy to understand or just a recapitulation of our past lessons in lower grades levels.

I learned to manage my time effectively and in a more organized fashion. I take pride in the success I achieve, whether minor or major. I also faced a lot of challenges in these past few months, particularly in subjects that aren't always my strong suits. Through all this, my peers were always there to motivate me, and help me understand certain topics. I observed personal development outside my academic profile as well. I gained a greater confidence in engaging in class discussions and communicating with my peers.

This quarter may have a lot of highs and lows, but nonetheless this quarter helped me build a strong foundation for the following quarters to come. It helped me prepare for the future and to be mindful about the things I have to complete.

Nutrition Month 2025

Every July, the Philippines celebrates Nutrition Month, this serves as an awareness for food and nutrition security, and the importance of eating healthy. The whole event was full of laughter and joy. It was really enjoyable, especially when we sold various snacks and finger foods.

For this year's nutri-jingle competition, our class was chosen to represent our school in the regional nutri-jingle competition. Our class president began with assigning the participants and I was one of those that were chosen to take part in the event. It was a lot more enjoyable than I expected, we got to sing, dance and go on a "field trip" where we shot the different scenes that were supposed to be in our advocacy video. The process was tiring, but fun, we got to run around, eat, and relax when we finished filming.

The whole month has been a blast and I'm so lucky to be a part of this wonderful celebration

The Story of Who I Am

Hello! My name is Athena Lorraine Dimarucut, an STE student who stives to be kind, down to earth, and thoughtful. Just like many teens, I love sports, music and arts. I play guitar and I'd love to be in a band someday, I also play arnis, I wouldn't say that I'm good at it when in reality I'm just your average player. I value authenticity at most. To me, honesty is important even if it makes you and others around you uncomfortable, because I always believed that growth starts where comfort ends. I'm very curious at how the world actually turns, how others think about things. I bond through deep connections, I like to understand others, not just understanding how others do it, but why they do it. What is their motive? What drives their dreams? What force tells them what to do? By these questions, I tend to be somewhat empathetic, because true understanding is about your ability to listen and process it to what it actually is, not just something that's vaguely thought about and answered.

I'm not perfect, I give my fair share of flaws and imperfections. I make mistakes and that's ok, because in the end, it's the lesson you gained from it that counts. Failure often teaches you a lot more than success ever could. I think that it's a lot better to chase purpose rather than perfection. Perfection is just an illusion, purpose has a lot more meaning, it's more about the importance of what you've done rather than how flawlessly is was made.

Everyone has their own stories about themselves, some good, some bad, but it's all a part of growth. As for me, I'm a mixture of different experiences and morals. Life doesn't always start on a strong foundation, it takes strength, dedication, and growth. Through this growth we learn how to create our own strong foundations. I believe strength isn't always loud and grand - sometimes it's the decision to keep going in the face of uncertainty. I am Athena Lorraine Dimarucut, I stive to be kind, down to earth, strong willed, and thoughtful.

Letter to the President

Dear Mr. President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Romualdez Marcos Jr.,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and within a prosperous and privileged position to insert luck in the hands of the less fortunate like me down on their luck. I hope that just before your termination the Philippines will be a lot more prosperous and progressive so that in the future we will have a strong foundation to support our children. I hope your reign will be worthwhile and that through everything I still support your administration. I also hope that even after your termination you'll find peace of mind and content for the nation you help build. I hope that your sacrifices and services to our country will not be put to vain, let the people view them will hope and indulgence. Your administration will be sealed in time.

                                                                                        Sincerely yours,
                                                                                                            Athena Lorraine R. Dimarucut
